Cailleach Ballymacdermot
Ballymacdermot Court , on the Ballymacdermot mountain within the ring of Gullion , this neolithic site has been dated as between 4000 to 2500bc. It has the most spectacular views across to the Cooley mountains and to Slieve Gullion and the other hills on the Ring of Gullion.
I find it a very high, soft and sometimes playful energy it expects and receives respect for the land you walk on.
So accordingly this soft Cailleach shows the colours I myself feel and see in the lands surrounding this special place. Again I have decorated her dress with megalithic symbols and this blue green colour I see as a communication. With tubing to emphasise the ley of the land..
